Overseal Primary, our successful and nurturing school, is looking for an experienced, highly skilled and passionate class teacher to join our supportive and enthusiastic team. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching, is positive and is driven to achieve the highest outcomes for all children. It is key that the candidate aligns with our value that every child is important and can learn. We are searching for someone with a proven track record in securing strong progress and outcomes, particularly in Year 6, and who has the ability to inspire and engage pupils across the primary age range.
Furthermore, this could be a role for someone highly ambitious as we would warmly welcome a fitting candidate on to our leadership team. This would be for candidates who can demonstrate prior high pupil attainment, which the teacher has secured with their teaching and learning skills. We would be looking for candidates who have shown leadership skills beyond their classroom already and led some changes in their own settings. For the right candidate this would come with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) to lead a core subject area or area of School Improvement.
