Engagement Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Engagement team in Digital Services

We are looking for an experienced and committed leader who has high aspirations for delivering digital solutions, who can motivate teams, is familiar with agile working and who can work at pace.  Knowledge of business analysis, agile project delivery in a Dev/Ops environment is crucial alongside evidence of your strategic work alongside key stakeholders.  You will have experience of understanding business needs and working collaboratively to ensure solutions meet needs and are aligned to the digital architectural vision for the council.

The post of Engagement Manager has specific responsibilities to:

• Manage and co-ordinate service delivery in accordance with the Digital strategy, council plan, departmental service plans and agreed Digital policies.  

• Manage the Digital ICT Engagement Service area to meet service priorities and lead an effective service responsive to the needs of the organisation. 

• Act as technical specialist or lead in delivering projects using an agile methodology, and promoting a DevOps approach to tackle business problems and needs.  
• Research and evaluate opportunities, innovate and utilise new Digital solutions to transform working practices within service areas, promote best practice and ensure value for money.
