Senior Asset Project Officer

Salary: Salary: £43,081 – £45,033 (Grade 12)
Location: Beeston, Nottinghamshire

This role is a crucial part of the Housing Asset Team and Towns R Gen Team and focusses on the delivery of an effective Capital, Energy Efficiency and R gen project works across the Councils’ Property portfolio. The role will directly manage a small team, including a focus on Energy efficiency Retrofit, Sustainable Construction and Disabled adaptations We are looking for someone who can ensure properties are maintained to a high standard and in accordance with all relevant legislation and has extensive experience in contract procurement and management, Construction Design Management (CDM) 2015. we are looking for someone who is well organised, has the ability to lead the team to deliver on projects and programmes and understands the relationships between high quality asset management and supporting those residents who live in them.

 

 

We’re looking for an individual who has experience in:

·       Contract management

·       Procurement of contracts

·       Tenant engagement

·       Managing Staff

·       To monitor financial, spend within in pre agreed budgets and produce monthly progress and spend reports.

·       Experience in deliver Energy efficiency retrofit projects, Aids, and adaptations, and CDM.

·       Experience in delivering Corporate or Estate asset projects.

 

 

The ideal candidate would be:

·       Knowledge of construction methods and techniques

·       Project management, planning, and scheduling

·       Risk management

·       Budgeting and cost management

·       Leadership and motivation

·       Negotiation and contract management

·       Adaptability and flexibility

·       Safety and building regs awareness.

·       Duties may include attendance at evening meetings and/or work outside normal office hours.
