Salary: £32,654 – £35,235 – pro rata

Salary Grade 6 i.e. £32,654 – £35,235 per annum

Full Time, 37 hours per week

We’re looking for a self-motivated and technically skilled individual to join the Council’s Housing Service, supporting our Electrical Engineer, electrical team, and contractors in delivering high-quality, compliant services across our tenants’ homes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all electrical works meet NICEIC standards, contributing to the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and safety. From monitoring project standards to identifying issues, diagnosing faults, and overseeing remedial works through to completion—you’ll help drive a culture of excellence throughout Housing Services.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a solid background in reactive maintenance and a strong understanding of housing regulations, property legislation, and health and safety standards. Acting with integrity and accountability will be crucial, as will your ability to innovate and contribute to ongoing service improvement.
