Location: Clowne Contact Centre, The Arc, High Street, Clowne S43 4JY (and other Contact Centre locations as required)

Job Description:

Bolsover District Council is seeking a highly motivated Customer Advisor with excellent customer service skills to join our dynamic Customer Services Department. The successful candidate will provide high-quality information and advice to all customers, handling enquiries, service requests, and complaints related to all Council services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service across various touchpoints (Telephone, Live Chat, Email, Face-to-face).
  • Act as a customer advocate, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolution of issues.
  • Provide comprehensive information and advice on Council services.
  • Handle complaints and sensitive issues with professionalism and empathy.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent.
  • Strong passion for customer service and a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle complaints and sensitive issues effectively.
  • Willingness to train and develop new skills.
  • Good ICT skills and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
