Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Due to the recent promotion of a valued KS2 (Y5/Y6) teacher to a leadership position within the Federation, an opportunity has arisen for a KS2 teacher to join our team. Beginning 4^th September 2025, though fixed term, it is envisaged this position will become permanent. 

Applications are welcomed from both experienced and ECTs. We would be delighted to hear from candidates who have experience in Y5/Y6.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess qualified teacher status
• Be able to establish excellent relationships with children and parents, promoting aspirational achievement and progress for all groups of pupils 
• Believe that all pupils, regardless of their background are capable of reaching their full potential
• Have high expectations of learning and behaviour
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
• Be able to take a lead role in a curriculum area and have a positive influence (please state your preferred curriculum area) 
• Have recent experience of teaching in mixed age classes, preferably in KS2
