Sales/Information Asst

An exciting opportunity has arisen is to work in Elvaston Castle shop and visitor centre.

What will I be doing :

You will support the operation of the Visitor Centre during the prescribed hours, sell items and provide information and advice to countryside visitors, 
providing a positive image of the council and promote customer care. 

What Skills and Experience do you need to have :

• Knowledge of the site is an advantage
• retail experience, including cash handling.
• Ability to deal with enquiries, complaints in a clear and concise manner
• A basic awareness of Countryside issues e.g. rights of way, wildlife

The role is physical demanding as it includes replenishing deliveries and being on your feet all day.

The role is fixed term until 31/12/25.

Hours are 13 a week, every Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm.
